As in 009, short
for the year 2009, the year which will live in
infamy
.
On January
1st, despite the impending disaster reflected from the election results, I
started the new year with renewed enthusiasm and the vigor of a teenager. It's
just a day from February and the reality of the January 20th inauguration, just
ten days later and it is taking it's toll on me.
A student friend sent me an email a couple
days ago, in his email was a copy of an email he received from Rock River Arms
(RRA). A few months ago he was interested in purchasing an AR-15 and one of the
RRA models had his eye. He sent RRA an inquiry about availability. Not
receiving a reply, and trying various other sources with a like same results,
he just a week or so ago picked up an AR-15 at a local shop in Yuma. Then he
finally gets a reply from RRA. In the email they explain they are 10-12 months
behind in production. They also stated how many guns they have on
backorder
..90,000! If you just said out loud "WOW", that is exact the
response I had. Considering RRA is one of the
major manufacturers, but not the biggest, and also considering that most of the
large government and military contract have been filled, I would think most of
these AR guns on backorder are orders taken from distributors and dealers
serving the civilian/citizen market. If we take an educated guess by combining
some of the other major players such as Colt, S&W, DPMS, and Bushmaster, we
would probably estimate there are about 500,000 AR-15 guns on backorder. Also,
considering the AK-47 sells at least 3-to-1, we could easily believe
distributors are sitting on a backorder situation for AK-47 of about 1,500,000
(they are getting hard to get, unless of course you want to pay $995.00!). The
numbers look like about 2 million assault rifles on backorder and it probably
isn't going to get better before it gets much worse. And how about those pistol
manufacturers, Glock is reporting they are far, far behind in production with
no real plan for ever catching up with the current
demand. I think probably the gun manufacturers
will not catch up to the demand until either, the political leadership shifts
in our favor, guns are outlawed or regulated out of reason, ammunition is
outlawed or regulated out of reason, or there is a revolution the likes of a
civil war. Either way, the liberals of this country, by their own standards,
have been one of the biggest incentive contributors, probably in all of our
countries history, to arming citizens of America.
Then there is the wrongly named Hussein
"stimulus package"
.what a joke. I like Michelle Malkin's name for it, the
"1.1 trillion dollar Generational Theft Act of 2009". The spending bill debt
which our grandchildren's, grandchildren will inherit. A debt responsibility,
spanning five generations and maybe more. It's taking from the rich and giving
to the poor, until the rich decide to place their wealth outside of the US,
then take from the middle class and give to the poor, until the middle class
are poor, all the while lining the pockets of the politic. In the end everyone
gets to enter the poor house, an exclusive club we all will be regulated into.
Not only exclusive, but also inclusive.
Hussein and the liberal government will not
be happy, while determined to prove their point, until they have driven the
entire country down on it's knees! Then the greatest free country ever on the
planet, will submit to it's place in the world government of a 3rd class nation
run by the world bank or even worse, or could it be worse. Sure it can always
get worse! Will they succeed? Will the
Americans let them destroy our country? I think the Republican Party has it all
wrong. They think they can rebuild the Republican Party and gain the strength
to take back control of the presidency, house and senate. I don't think it
makes much difference. There is a storm brewing and I don't see anything to
stop it. It's not just from Berry Hussein
Obama and the liberals, it's from our southern border, it's south of the
border, it's within our borders, in every state of the union. It comes from
various fronts, from the organized gangs (we have about 112 of them here in the
Phoenix metro area), to illegal aliens, from Mexico about to collapse, to the
gay and lesbians, from the terrorist of the Taliban to the muslims.
It's almost Russian roulette to see which
source can damage the country the most and the soonest. It is clear to me,
until we decide we have had enough and stop the progress of these cancers, our
condition will continue to worsen. Hussein stated during his inaugural speech,
he wants to rebuild, to remake America. What we need is to restore America, not
remake it. But it is going to get a lot worse before we will stand up to take a
stand and draw a line in the sand. When our
life is threatened by the new remake of America, real Americans will take a
stand. I hope it's not to late when we do. I hope I'm still here to take part
in it. It will be sad, it will not be fun, it will be a monumental moment in
our history
.it most likely will be a "make or
break" deal.
