TacTrain Skill at Arms
Development was founded in 1996 to serve citizen civilians, military, security,
law enforcement, and personal protection professionals in the Phoenix, Arizona
area.
TacTrain offers most of our courses
on the weekends at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility,
located in north Phoenix and other nearby undisclosed wilderness locations of
the Black, Bradshaw, and Wickenburg Mountains, and Tonto National Forest areas
of the Sonoran Desert. Our classes are inexpensive, convenient and require
minimum travel for local residents. We also encourage students to attend
training provided by any of the many quality schools, both local and across the
United States. We feel, what we have to offer blends in harmony with other
trainers and instructors and we do not view any quality school or instructor as
competition, but rather as strengthening an industry and our
nation.
Our focus is assisting students to
develop proven fighting skills useful in their defense, recognizing the best
defense is a superior offense. We stress the importance of combat readiness,
combat mindset, accuracy, speed and the will necessary to win, that is
paramount to succeed in battle.
TacTrain
is a fighting school, providing the stimulus for students to develop skills
using various lethal tools from handguns, carbines, rifles and shotguns, to
knives, and other types of lethal tools, while developing the most powerful
weapon known to man kind, the human mind. Beyond the physical tactical
reactions are thought processed strategic responses for the real world of
mortal combat. Often a thin line separates lawful and moral defense from
criminal and social liability. We strive to develop within each student two
bottom line responsibilities; 1st, the huge responsibility of developing their
own personal most power weapon and skills with lethal tools; and 2nd, a
warriors mental and physical strength to survive and more importantly, to
WIN......
The 1st and 2nd Dimension
training series, strengthens and broadens the basic and fundamentals for
individual, family, community, state and national defense, contributing trained
citizens for a superior Homeland Security
Defense.
Beyond all the hoopla, the
drills, the tactics, and mind twisting, students are recognized as customers.
They are the reason our business exist. They are not an interruption of our
ego, they are the substance of our passion.......to provide the best training
