Ron Teagarden, Jr.
Call-Sign "ZEEK"Zeek graduated from San Diego State with a BS in Business Administration and continued technology studies at the University of California.
At age 10, Ron was introduced to pistol shooting by his grandfather and uncle. By his 14th birthday his dad had him shooting revolvers and shotguns at a local club. His thirst for knowledge and training brought Ron to study Hungar and Choy Lee Fut Kung-Fu, self-defense and philosophy, spending considerable time sparing, and performing security duties at local events in the San Diego area.
As a youngster, Ron also developed a love for the great outdoors including fishing, camping, and off-roading in the Arizona wilderness.
In 2000 he started formal firearms training. Pistol, carbine, shotgun, precision field rifle, edged weapons, and many other self-defense disciplines.
In 2003, Ron joined the staff as a TacOps Adjunct Instructor. Ron is also an extreme researcher who reinforces his student and instructor skills of learning "how" and "when" with "why".![]()

Paul Kelley
Call-Sign "DOG"
Dog grew up in Louisiana, with the gators, snakes, and cockroaches. As an avid hunter, he spent a lot of time in the woods, swamps, and bayous of Louisiana, stalking turkey, squirrel, duck, coon, rabbit, deer, pheasant, chukar, and quail.
Paul has worked and hunted with the local newspaper's Hunting and Fishing editor, scouting and tracking. They also worked with local Game & Fish officers recording and reporting poaching activities in several parishes of Northern Louisiana.
As a member of the Shreveport Gun Club and Red Chute Gun Club, Paul regularly honed his shotgun skills on the trap, skeet and sporting clay ranges.
Trading the bayous for the desert, Paul is focused on perfecting his personal protection skills with pistols, carbines, edged weapons, precision rifles and helping others learn as well.
